Workday Functional Test Manager Permanent NEW

• Work in Workday Test Manager capacity owning process of identification of test scenarios, creation of test cases, execution, defect logging/ tracking and ensure timely closure of all test phases
• Own test quality and outcome of all test phases in a Workday Implementation including but not limited to System Integration Test, Performance test, Payroll Parallel Run etc.
• Drive test automation using TOSCA and achieve test automation targets
• Development and maintenance of procedures for smoke, regressions, system load, data conversion, system integration test, and user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain test traceability ensuring all requirements are tested
• Work with downstream/ upstream application owners to ensure integrated tests are executed and completed in time
• Collaborate with teams across shores to meet the required outcomes and objectives
• Able to develop innovative automated and manual testing approaches to meet deadlines while maintaining quality assurance
• Prioritizes system testing requirements and areas for self and users, identifies and eliminates potential testing roadblocks
• Work with users to plan UAT activities ensuring adequate coverage
• Chair defect triage meetings and drive defect fix/ retest and closure
• Create test progress reports as per the standards

Prerequisites

• Overall, 8-12 years of experience with 4+ years of HCM consulting experience, most recently in a Lead role, or similar level role, preferably with a large consulting firm
• 2+ years of hands on experience delivering Workday implementations in a functional capacity
• Existing and up to date Workday HCM Partner Certification
• Two or more years of systems testing experience with Workday is preferred
