In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank’s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
About the role
The Regional Data Team is part of Institutional Banking Group Operations (IBGO) and our responsibilities include building the Data Analytics Solutions using advanced machine learning methods, recommendation engines, text mining solutions and customer models to amplify the business impact and efficient customer management, as well as answer numerous business questions using statistical tools and data analysis for institutional banking customers. DBS has embarked on building a Data Driven Operating Model for entire bank and we at Group IBGO wants to embed DDOM in the way we operate. With this vision, we are looking at seasoned data analytics and delivery professional to implement Data Driven Operating Model within Group IBGO in close working with Data Delivery Execution Teams, Senior leadership, Operations and Technology Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of IBGO Control Tower to manage and build best in class data analytics solution and DDOM Ops Control Tower (e2e) within agreed timeline, effort and quality across Group IBGO
• Lead the ADA migration of IBGO Data assets and build support model with IBG Analytics and ADA teams
• Drive the adoption of IBGO Data control tower and dashboards with Ops teams to maximize the use of data and bring value
• Work with various functions, locations and technology team on Financials & Project benefit tracking within agreed cost target
• Provide and support Management Updates, Communications & engagement including running of monthly data forum (internal/ external)
• Drives Standards, Controls & Repository Management across IBGO Data team for team governance
• Govern regional IBGO Data access and data management for analytics purpose
• Experimentation and proof of concept of IBGO Analytics Dashbaord 2.0 with best of capabilities and analytics user journey

Requirements

• Degree holder with minimum 8 years of professional experience in program management, governance and change management
• Consulting background in banking / financial /analytics services is preferred
• Prior experience in embedding data analytics into business/ process flow and track benefits data driven way will be of added advantage
• Strong management and communication skills showcasing leadership qualities and stakeholder management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
• Ability to navigate in a complex environment and achieve outcome
• Meticulous, passion to help business with a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Strong appreciation and understanding of data management and various tools
