Description CBG Payments and Platforms (P2) is the SG market leader in offering cutting edge and consumer oriented solutions for Cards, Unsecured Lending, and Payments. The Business Planning team within P2 enables growth and efficiencies by providing reports, analysis, and optimal processes. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager plays a key role in providing actionable reports and insights across the different teams within P2: Cards, Merchant Acquiring, UL, and Paylah. This roles also ensures proper accounting, processing, risk management, and reporting guidelines are followed and delivered. Effective stakeholder management across the dept and the Bank is key in delivering results.
Strong financial, analytical, and spreadsheet skills with ability to communicate and act as the bridge between business, finance, marketing, and analytics teams.
Coordinate monthly forecasting and annual budgeting across various teams into the forecast model
Perform PnL & business analysis to understand underlying drivers of the business
Build financial models to incorporate multiple scenarios for budgeting and forecasting
Create ad hoc models and analysis to identify causes for variances, risk / opportunities to the business
Working with stakeholders from cards products, finance, credit risk, operations, and marketing to distil various objectives and data points into a cohesive strategy
Building presentation decks to illustrate strategies and objectives of P2
Well versed in diagramming flow charts and processes for presentation building
Confident in delivering presentations to peers and senior managers regarding risk / opportunities to the business
Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to reporting and business tasks
Streamline and consolidate various manual reports and functions to enhance productivity
Managing two staff to drive results and optimize the responsibilities
Degree with at least 6 – 10 years of relevant working experience
Excellent and confident user of data bases, spreadsheets, and pivot tables
Basic accounting knowledge
Experience in a financial institute or in the payments industry is an advantage
Familiarity with programming/coding (any language) is a plus
