Introduction to the role: Our client is on its way to building a top-tier Digital Bank here and is looking for a UX Research and Strategy Lead, to join their growing team. You will be involved in building, and leading the UX Research function, constantly innovating and implementing user-centred strategy decisions connecting the users with the business and world-class financial technology. You will contribute by engaging with the community of power users and early adopters and constantly strive towards building high-quality products in fintech and lifestyle.
Leading the vision of a user-led environment, placing users at the core of everything they do.
Champion and scale the value of user research and helping to make decisions that unlock true growth for product roadmaps.
Build out the foundational UX team, coaching and mentoring the team and identifying necessary training and education required.
Have a breath of knowledge in research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative to discover customer behaviour and needs.
Lead in user research projects, interviews, and workshops as well as usability testing
Translate customer findings into actionable insights and presenting these findings to cross functional teams.
Drive the engagement of building a community of early adopters and power users in collaboration of the Community Manager
Leverage on audience insights to empower brand identity, values and tone of voice
Partner with designers, product managers, and business leads across all verticals.
Experience in managing and delivering early stage design projects
Experience in applying research and insights to digital products, ideally within financial services, consumer technology, or lifestyle.
Familiar with Jobs to be Done theory and identifying undeserved opportunities in the market
Experience in applying research and insights to brand strategy, marketing and advertising/PR.
Strong ability to inspire through real human stories from research
Experience in working across multidiscipline and familiar with Agile working environment
Passion for research in UX and/or branding, ideally with strong academic grounding in psychology, ethnography, sociology, or anthropology.
