Trade Operations Analyst Contract

About the Trade Operations Analyst Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for liaising with many different groups across the organisation, hence you must have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and authorise securities transactions for equities, fixed income, funds and structured products trades
• Verify securities transaction trade details and reconcile trades against trade blotter, and release trades in the system
• Provide operational support for D1 Swap Products
• Provide resolution to client issues
• Support the sales and trading desks by investigating and resolving issues and enquiries related to trade processing, bookings, breaks, etc.
• Work closely with operations and client services to ensure timely settlement of trades
• Devise proactively control procedures to prevent operational risk to the firm
• Manage ad hoc projects and liaise with both internal/external counterparts in different regions

To succeed in this Trade Operations Analyst role in a business control management environment, you must have the ability to work as a team player.

Key Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• VBA and SQL programming skills is preferred
• Working knowledge of securities trade processing or settlement flow is a distinct advantage
• Business-level communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• Problem solving skills
