Reporting Line: Head of Finance/Trade Finance Manager

The Trade Finance team manages all aspects of trade finance for the company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trade product documentation comply with sales contract
• Handle guarantees, standby letters of credit, and letters of credit for import and export
• Ensure documents are compliant
• Track ongoing trades
• Liaise with banks for RMA, confirmation and discounting quotes

Relationships

• To work closely with the Trading/Operations team – Understand ongoing trades
• Accounting team – Update AR/AP

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years’ work relevant experience
• Good working knowledge of UCP and incoterms
• Metals and/or dry bulk experience
• Diligent, proactive and an eye for detail
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
