Our client is a fast growing Fintech firm , HQ in SIngapore.

Objectives and Key Functions of this Role

Manage IT projects right from inception to completion, understand all aspects of OneConnect products and systems, from both business and technical points of view.
Act as links between project managers and product designers or developers.
Evaluate and select appropriate technology components and suggest integration methods.
Oversee assigned programs (e.g. conduct code review) and provide guidance to team members
Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
Carry out testing procedures to ensure systems are running smoothly
Address technical concerns, ideas and suggestions
Ensure that systems satisfy quality standards and procedures
Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Produce progress reports
Work with senior IT personnel to devise plans for future IT requirements of the organization
Domain expert applying broad technical skills, with deep industry knowledge and business acumen, supporting sales and presales team in developing optimized cloud solutions that promote customer’s business strategy goals on digital transformation and cloud adoption
Work with Solution Architect / Presales team to access solution alignment to overall Products and Solutions offering blueprint
Clearly articulate business architecture and technical architecture for hybrid and multi-cloud
Support in developing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) with presales and engagement team. Develop estimates and work-breakdown

Required Skills and Qualifications

Degree or Post Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant subjects
Proven work experience as Technical Architect or Technical Pre-Sales Consultant
Experience working in IaaS space is required, with knowledge of PaaS and Software preferred
5+ years of working experience in banking IT domain or in a technical SI company
Knowledge on Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, including on premise and Hyper-scaler Cloud platform (i.e. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or equivalent cloud platforms
Hands-on experience in software development and system administration
Knowledge of strategic IT solutions
Experience designing, deploying, and administering Windows and Linux based systems
Knowledge of container technologies such as K8S, Docker, LXC
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms is essential
Familiarity with programming languages like Javascript, Java, SQL, and Sprint Boot
Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, UNIX, and databases like MySQL
