Striving for quality and excellence in our work, we recognize and reward extraordinary performance among our employees, provide wide-ranging training and development opportunities, and benefit from a diverse range of perspectives to create value for our clients, shareholders and communities. We are Credit Suisse.
You will work in the Global Systems Integration (SI) team in Singapore, which is part of Group CIO Customer Relationship Management organization, providing technical services to our clients across all internal IT application development and project teams. The SI role can best be described as that of an Enterprise Solutions Architect – a senior IT technologist, often with more than10 years of operational and engineering experience.
You will work closely with application development and project teams to analyze existing and future application environments, and how they map to the strategic platforms and services of the firm. In addition, where application teams have non-standard requirements, you will act as the conduit between them and the GCIO Service and Capability owners and Engineering teams. Where the engagements you will be involved in require infrastructure, and be responsible for designing an appropriate solution that considers the firms’ best interests, such as operational stability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery and consistency to the firms’ security and risk standards. These same considerations will apply equally to your consultancy activities.
The role will offer you the chance to constantly improve your skills though working on real infrastructure requirements and technical consultancies. As a member of the SI team, you will have to span a wide range of new technologies such as physical hardware, operating systems, databases, storage, Platform/Container/Software as a Service. You will also advise our customers on the firms’ On-Premise and Public Cloud offerings and strategy.
Through your interaction with application teams and other teams, such as GCIO colleagues, third-party hardware and software vendors you will also need to demonstrate, not just your deep technical knowledge, but also your excellent negotiating and presentation skills at times involving people several grades higher than you. The firm has a presence in over 50 countries covering the main locations as well as many smaller branches. The one thing they have in common is IT infrastructure and people so it is expected to absorb a vast amount of technical detail and show an interest in building relationships with a diverse range of colleagues.
As a distributed team covering a vast technical landscape across many locations you will be encouraged to share your expertise and knowledge with the other members of the SI community to help develop the whole team and encourage global standardization efficiently wherever possible.
Your future colleagues
The Global SI team has a presence on three continents working on large-scale pivotal initiatives and global projects as well as smaller projects and technical consultancy. It is staffed by a diverse team of highly technical and analytical individuals with prior experience in operational and engineering functions across many industry sectors. They also have superb communication and negotiating skills with a very customer focused outlook. By the very nature of the role they perform, they have built extensive networks across all areas of IT and have and solid grasp of firm’s business.
We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firm’s D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global cultural values.
