Support and manage platform/infrastructure for Market Data and Dealer Voice/Recording applications
Act as infrastructure owner and make sure all infrastructure components are set up/configured properly, and monitoring is in place.
Analyse current infrastructure environment. Assess the risks involved and make recommendations to improve platform stability. Make sure all new infrastructure setup is done with optimized settings and engineering standards.
Systems and applications monitoring – setup and configure necessary parameters/counters to monitor all production systems and applications
Fine-tune and troubleshoot performance or production problems related to TREP, Bloomberg BPIPE, Database, IPC Unigy, NICE Recording, Windows//Linux servers.
Capacity Monitoring, Planning, and Upgrade
Level 2/3 support to trading floor Market Data and Dealer Voice/Recording desktop applications
5+ years or more system administrator/market data architecture experience
Strong knowledge in Redhat Linux platform.
Ability to fine tune and troubleshoot performance on Unix/Linux systems.
Strong knowledge in TREP, Bloomberg BPIPE
Good understanding on Database, SQL, and Control M
Knowledge on IPC Unigy and NICE Recording is an advantage
Knowledge on SAN and clustering is an advantage
Experience with systems and applications monitoring using an enterprise monitoring tool
PERL or UNIX shell script or Python programming
Ability to work under pressure and work wel with both business and developers onshore, offshore global y.
Able to work in early/late hours shift and assume weekend duties/support
Experience in the financial industry or related business on front office systems infrastructure is an advantage.
