Qualifications & Experience:
The candidate must have:
· BSc. Civil / Structural / Mechanical Engineering (MSc preferred)
· Experience in supervising and performing pipeline detailed and FEED engineering activities associated with onshore and offshore pipeline projects
· Extensive experience in Offshore pipeline engineering including Conceptual Study, FEED and detailed design
· Experience with recognized industry software packages and tools for pipeline design
· Experience in technical engineering support to other departments within the Central Engineering Group, the Project Engineering Group and to colleagues in terms of training and mentoring
Safety Responsibilities:
· Maintain corporate HSE Policy within the office and on-site as required
Required Competencies:
The candidate must have the following competencies:
· Effective planning of subsea pipeline requirements for projects (schedule & budget)
· Ability to work closely with Lead Engineers, Project Management, Multi-discipline Engineers in the forecasting, scheduling of deliverables, drawings and overall project support
· In depth knowledge of various pipeline design codes and specifications
· A positive attitude towards developing and training the pipeline engineering team
· Innovation with the ability to analyse and solve problems outside of base role
· Ensure the quality of subsea engineering products to set procedures & templates
· Identify and expedite process improvements including:
o Lessons learned
o Software
o Procedures
· Good communication with line manager
· Interfacing and consulting with other subsea business unit locations
· Good communication skills to act as an effective liaison with support groups and vendors

Working Conditions:
Standard Working Hours; may travel to other offices & client locations when required
