We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Working with the executive management team, you will analyse external market data (including government datasets and macro-economics), internal customer data and sales cycle analytics to paint a broad picture of the group position, the competitive landscape, market penetration and growth potential, assisting the executive team in developing the most accurate data-based market strategies for the group. Leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources, you will be a key part in contributing to the group strategy development, and your in-depth analysis will determine the most relevant business metrics, reporting mechanisms and processes to enhance sales and marketing initiatives. Your role will be a critical one in anticipating market developments and new opportunities to help the company thrive and grow.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years’ post-graduate experience in marketing intelligence and analytics, ideally gained in the field of market research or market analytics in any industry – a research agency, consulting firm or consumer brand background would be advantageous, as will having strong technical skills including advanced Excel skills and data visualisation techniques. You will be a driven personality, independent and someone with a natural passion for identifying stories and narratives from raw data, interpreting what is happening behind the numbers into translating it into powerful and meaningful business advantage.
