Senior Legal Counsel – M&A Permanent NEW

Our client, a multinational Food-Products company is looking for an exceptional cross-border M&A lawyer to join their team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play an essential role in the strategic expansion of the group’s foothold and business across Asia Pacific and Middle East.

Role and Responsibility

• Leading M&A projects from end to end, working closely with internal and external stakeholders – Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contacts
• Supporting the business expansion and joint ventures across the region, conducting due diligence and ensuring compliance
• Keeping abreast of latest changes in Laws across the region and provide early indication on potential impacts to the business
• Active involvement in regional strategic organisational initiatives

Requirements

• Law degree from a prestigious University
• Qualified lawyer with 6-8 PQE, strong experience from cross-border M&A, takeovers and JV practice
• Ability to work independently and cohesively across a nimble high performing team when required, taking on multiple assignments at a time
• Proficiency in additional languages commonly spoken across APAC highly advantageous
