Job Description The client is a global financial services organisation who are rapidly expanding their presence in Asia. They are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager based in Singapore.
Define the scope to ensure outcomes and expected benefits are clearly articulated and that agreed work is aligned to the strategy.
Manage projects to deliver solutions and capabilities that meet business requirements and realise benefits within agreed scope, time, cost and quality.
Monitor and report status to Project Sponsor on status of financials, risks, issues and progress towards milestones and deliverables.
Work with the architects, technologist and the business to deliver cost estimates for submissions for funding approval, and subsequently manage and report project delivery against agreed costs and manage partner and vendor costs related to technology delivery.
Effective tracking of detailed tasks in the plan via established task reporting processes and input from task owners
Direct the identification, monitoring, reporting and escalation of risks and issues and problems associated with services and delivery in the project.
Raise risk at group level when required
Engage, inform, influence and negotiate with stakeholders, particularly the service delivery teams and key business stakeholders.
Provide regular written status updates to all stakeholders.
Ensure all project documentation are signed-off by the business and respective stakeholders and are of auditable standards.
Have a strong sense of accountability and integrity as you lead the delivery and support your team.
10 years of experience working as a Technology Project or Solution Delivery Manager
Extensive end to end technology project management experience working within Financial Services domain – a bonus if you have asset management or wealth management experience.
Diverse experience with different types of technologies and platforms.
Experience working with in-house and outsource technology service providers
Great communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management and negotiation skills is required to work with business and technology stakeholders.
Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment where priorities shift as we manage across multiple projects and hard deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
Evidence of continual improvement and investment into yourself (i.e. training, education, secondments into new areas)
