Senior In-house Legal Counsel – Real Estate Permanent NEW

This is a newly created role in which you will play a significant role as part of a growing regional business

An excellent opportunity for Senior Associate or Junior Partner in private practise to transition into an in-house position

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel in real estate, M&A projects
• Develop and implement policies in identifying legal risk, and to take appropriate measure to mitigate and resolute such risks and liabilities
• Responsible for review, draft and negotiate of terms sheets, commercial contracts,legal documents
• Provide legal advice and counsel to the senior management team and other functional areas involved in the development of real estate projects
• Provide legal advice and support to business units, and provide legal support in day to day operational matters
• Manage external counsel and to assist in the corporate secretarial and compliance matters

Requirements:

• 8 – 10+ years PQE with strong transactions, contracts law skills and drafting experience
• Real estate and M&A experience
• Knowledge of company law and corporate secretarial matters relating to project and investment companies in the APAC region
• Experience in equity capital market transaction will be a plus
• A self starter and good with project management
