We’re looking for a candidate to this position in an exciting company.
Creating and maintaining records of invention disclosures and IP/patents in IP database, including data entry of patent details and patent expenses, as well as scanning and uploading/archiving of IP-related documents
Liaise with inventors and patent/law firms to ensure IP-related legal documents are completed in compliance with formality requirements of IP/patent filings
Docketing and tracking of IP-related deadlines, including patent-filing and prosecution deadlines
Managing IP renewals portfolio and ensuring prompt payment of IP renewals due
Processing IP invoices for prompt settlement
Maintaining up-to-date IP records and generating accurate IP/patent statistics for reporting
Work closely with IP managers and provide quality and responsive administrative support to the managers
At least a GCE ‘A’ Levels certificate or a Polytechnic diploma
At least 3 years of prior administrative experience, preferably in a similar appointment
Proficiency in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Good written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision
