Senior Business Development – Energy Permanent

A leading energy business is growing its commercial activities across Asia and is looking to expand its business development team. They are seeking an experienced commercial and analytical professional who will play a pivotal role in the sourcing, structuring, evaluation and execution of new energy projects and deals.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial viability, financial and valuation analysis, due diligence and have a sound understanding of risk-reward scenarios
• Review and build financial models to ensure sound justification, measure portfolio returns and analyze deal effectiveness
• Identify, source and execute energy investment opportunities – ability to structure and negotiate deals
• To be involved in new business development, build and maintain relationships with business partners, key stakeholders in targeted key markets in the energy space

The ideal candidate

• Degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
• Min 8 years of experience in Investment, Trading, Project Finance in Energy, Oil & Gas or relevant industry
• Strong commercial and analytical skills with keen attention to details and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral – to interact and conduct businesses with local and foreign stakeholders
