My client is a fast-growing APAC DC platform, currently managing a portfolio of 11 data centers across major Asian cities. The company is in the process of advancing plans for further metro and geographic expansion in the APAC region.
As part of the Strategic Accounts sales team, and reporting to the Regional Director, Strategic Accounts, this role will be working to drive customer requirements and solutions using your technical expertise gained from previous experience as a sales engineer.
Identify customer’s technical needs, challenges and requirements
• Utilizes defined technical processes and procedures to develop solutions • Provides support for customer meetings / tours, sales presentations & customer meetings
Coordinates and supports RFI/P/Q preparation as requested by Sales team
• Develop a good understanding of the company’s service offering data centers • Collaborates with internal teams (Customer Care, IM/Ops, etc.) to ensure smooth project transition from pre-sales to post-sales
The Successful Candidate:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
3+ years relevant sales engineering experience preferred in data center industry
Experience working in a global / regional matrix organizations
Self-motivated, positive attitude
Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
Possesses basic industry knowledge and familiarity of the competitive landscape
Good command of English & Mandarin is required (to handle both US & China hyperscale customers)
