Lazada’s User Experience Design team brings together a variety of disciplines to ensure the best possible experience of our platform. Our UX researchers, UX designers and creatives which include both product and campaign designers coming from backgrounds as varied as psychology, computer science, human-computer interaction, engineering, and industrial design. Their collective experiences, combined with user-centered research that guides design decisions allows the team to create frictionless shopping experiences and products while supporting business operations with their design expertise.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Develop collaboration models across the region with the rest of the organization. Set a clear vision, provide clear direction and feedback to the Regional UED Team Evaluate research insights and respond to the strategy direction given by the business. Priorities and focus on providing impactful design solutions to address key issues across the region Manage design investments beyond UX – business design, concept design and design doing. Drive cultural change towards design-led innovation Create design solutions that are meaningful, authentic and customer-oriented across all the touchpoints. Define UX metrics against business derivers, measure, report and enhance based on data analysis. Lead and coach the team, continuous efforts in building a strong UX team that can fulfill business needs
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing teams (30+ people preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing cross countries UX, interactive or usability team Experienced in creating eCommerce UX strategies and a strong portfolio of interaction and visual design work Strong communication skills to present UX design strategies and solutions to stakeholders Experience working in South East Asia and e-commerce/online retail is also a plus Candidates who are experts at rapid prototyping, free-hand sketching, whiteboard facilitation and pixel-perfect wireframing will stand a strong advantage.
