The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Transaction Banking business in APAC, optimizing business potential in the countries in this region. You will promote the growth of the business by developing and driving business strategies for specific targets, goals and sectors. Driving a client-focused culture, you will be accountable for strategic relationship management for corporate customers and financial institutions in this region.
Working closely with the corporate banking and trade finance product teams, you will take the lead in recommending new products and be directly accountable for profit maximization and sales management of Trade Finance, cash management, deposits, payments, outsourcing and ancillary services. Whilst driving sales, you will manage related credit and business risks and ensure these strategies and initiatives are supported in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications and at least 15 years of relevant transaction banking experience in APAC, with a strong background in sales, trade and supply chain finance. Strong product management, credit skills and knowledge of KYC policies are critical. Your proven leadership skills will enable you to motivate and develop a high performance team and foster a highly conducive work environment. You are dynamic and strategic, yet have the ability to be hands on to ensure daily operational activities run effectively.
