We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Strategize account expansion initiatives, directing and conducting thorough research through various channels of information
Target specific accounts leveraging a large professional network to proactively generate growth within an area of specialization
Oversee the long sales cycle and sales process for complex multinationals to ensure successful conclusion through to contract close
Evaluate existing books of business and leverage internal contacts, internal product developments and market developments to identify areas of opportunity and expansion for existing accounts
Leverage an advanced awareness and understanding of client needs and internal service offerings to deliver the whole firm to accounts and clients and facilitate relationships to diversify account involvement and maximize value
Organize, attend, speak and present at relevant industry conferences, and be a prominent, contributing member of relevant professional organizations and societies to expand and maintain a large professional network, gain exposure and represent the Company and its offerings
Proven experience of identifying, designing, recommending and implementing efficient and innovative global employee benefits solutions to address large, multinational clients complex health benefits challenges
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Global Health and Benefits environment, including Mercer’s internal solutions and products, and external industry/company trends and products
Significant Experience and track record in managing MNC client relationships at a senior level, sustaining long-term broad-based relationships
Experience selling to senior buyers and independently leading large sales opportunities and using sales and marketing skills to successfully market organizational strengths
Consulting and broking expertise, specifically in employee health and benefits
A strong record as a quota-bearing individual sales contributor in relevant industries – Employee Benefits or HR solutions.
Demonstrated capabilities in global sales in an enterprise or complex environment.
A positive and energetic attitude; eager to engage in the complexities of working in a highly matrixed, multinational organization and past experience that demonstrates this
Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Demonstrated capabilities in presenting complex analytical topics to senior client stakeholders (to Director and C-Suite) as well as work successfully with internal GBM stakeholders.
Ability to efficiently manage multiple client relationships
High level of quantitative/analytics skills
Ability to develop and close business opportunities
Autonomous and self-starting. Proven ability to drive results while working under deadlines.
Strong personal presence and self-confidence, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization.
