Product Designer Permanent

Our client is a global consumer tech company that operates in 150 cities and 12 countries. They are looking for a Product Designer, APAC to help anticipate consumer’s needs and deliver functions for everyone. You will work within a squad together with frontend, backend, and mobile engineers, in partnership with design and product owners. They are looking for a creative problem solver who is hungry for a new adventure, and wants to learn, thrive, and grow to within a flexible working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work together with multiple teams across all phases of the design process, including research, prototypes, conceptual design, usability testing, creation of product design and implementation
• Presenting design decisions, research, and data to build consensus and move product process forward.
• Question established thinking and identify best practices to contribute to the creation of an outstanding experience
• Bringing user needs to an interdisciplinary team to reach common goal of improving the product and user experience.
• Being the Voice of the Customer’s by education cross-functional stakeholder to a user-centered product design process

Desired Qualifications/Certifications:

• BA in UX-related field or equivalent practical experience
• 2-5 years of experience in product design in a B2C organization working in cross-functional teams
• Broad experience in designing and shipping Android, iOS apps, and web working with cross-platform requirements
• Have great attention to detail, problem solving skills and takes on user-centered design approach
• Able to prioritize, have good time-management, enthusiastic team player who empowers and motivates team members
• Experience in Working with Figma, Sketch, inVision or similar design tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a proactive attitude, collaborative, and can maintain a structured working style in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
