We provide financial analyses and insights to management and businesses to make informed decisions. We engage our stakeholders regularly to keep them abreast of the Bank’s financial performance and development.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Balance Sheet Management team within Corporate Treasury of the Group Finance division. Corporate Treasury is a dedicated strategic management unit, within the CFO office. We ensure that capital and liquidity is allocated optimally across the Bank, hence enabling businesses, and promoting financial resilience through economic cycles.
You will assess the impact of the external macroeconomic environment on the Bank and analyse data to recommend strategies to maximise balance sheet profitability. You will interact with key stakeholders across the Bank, including senior management. You will have the opportunities to develop new initiatives and participate in cross functional projects. This position is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong ethics, attention to detail and can think strategically across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor macro, industry, and regulatory developments and highlight implications for the bank’s balance sheet.
• Work with large data sets to provide data-driven insights and unlock hidden value within our balance sheet.
• Support the implementation of strategies to maximise balance sheet profitability.
• Support the management of interest rate, liquidity, and structural FX exposures.
• Drive implementation of FTP processes
• Design dashboards to provide overview of balance sheet trends
• Assist in the preparation presentations to key stakeholders

Qualifications
The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in banking or analytics, with good academic qualifications.
• Curious, analytical, and independent thinker with a keen interest in financial markets and strategy.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills, comfortable with handling big data sets.
• Familiar with BI tools (e.g.QlikView)
• Practical knowledge of SQL and Python preferred.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
