Mechanical Design Engineer – Surgical Robotics Permanent

We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

• Participating in pre-clinical in vivo labs and observing cases in hospitals and through planned and unplanned customer interactions.
• Creating and evaluating prototypes to generate concept and model approvals.
• Writing engineering reports and creating presentations as required to document and communicate results.
• Instituting design changes based on internal and external customer feedback.
• Collaborating with peers to manage the development of appropriate testing to verify product meets internal and external customer requirements.

• A Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent).
• An advanced degree, 0-1 years of relevant industry experience (medical device experience strongly preferred), Knowledge of electromechanical/mechatronic systems.
• Experience with; Detail Drawings , GD&T, 3D CAD software (Creo / Pro Engineer preferred), Ansys, CE-Tol, Minitab, MathCad, MATLAB, Simulink, LabView
• Prior internships or familiarity with systems engineering, robotics and mechanical design strongly preferred.
