Marketing Manager, Customer Solutions and Innovation, AP Permanent

We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

• Identify relevant internal and external stakeholders, industry groups, conferences and other platforms
• Define marketing strategy and develop marketing plan for commercial team based on growth objectives and target customers, including optimal Marketing Mix and budget allocation
• Align the Marketing with the Business Unit activities and other relevant stakeholders to set up joint initiatives where applicable
• Develop strategy for customer events and project manage major events including external and internal audiences
• Support selection of and participation in external events in the region (e.g. industry event, trade conferences)
• Develop creative and out of the box customer engagement formats
• Lead and execute internal and external communication efforts using appropriate marketing & communication tools
• Drive placement and promotion process for thought leadership publications, special reports etc
• Leverage social media to drive market awareness and establish broad social media approach
• Interface with Sales to ensure needs/requirements are captured and fulfilled; assess and deliver value of Marketing to sales organization
• Develop marketing materials and collateral as needed, from concept to production to distribution
• Develop and administer expert community

• University degree (business or equivalent) holder with at least 6 years’ experience in project management and marketing
• 5 years’ experience in the logistics industry desirable
• Broad understanding of the supply chain and logistics
• Proven record of marketing and project management
• Strong understanding of marketing tactics and planning processes.
• Critical thinking, strong organizational skills and accuracy
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation skills with understanding of the implications of decisions that are made
• Due to nature of business and stakeholder interactions, the incumbent is required to be proficient in (spoken/written) English
