We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Coordinate and work with a cross-functional team including counsel counsels to develop and implement regulatory strategies and assist in regulatory submissions for regional activities.
Develop pro-regulatory strategies to engage and work with legislators and government in various countries on license applications and to provide inputs on new legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Provide legal support to activities in the region, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating of documentation and leading and managing legal matters relating to regional transactions. This includes corporate acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, incorporations, business carve out and similar transactions.
Provide advice and support to regional transformation project, advising on a wide range of topics such as commercial contracting, use of data and relevant banking regulations.
Assist in obtainment of approvals from board and shareholder for regional matters, including preparation of all board papers and seeking regulatory approval.
Advise and lead on corporate law matters include capital restructurings, asset transfers, shareholder distributions and implement necessary corporate transactional steps for regional work.

A Bachelor Degree or an equivalent tertiary academic qualification in Law (LLB) from a reputable university.
Lawyer admitted to practice in Singapore with at least 7 years of relevant qualified experience, ideally with a minimum of 2 years in private practice with a recognised law firm in Singapore and a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a financial institution.
