ABOUT LEAN IN
Lean In Singapore is a non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve their career ambitions. LeanIn.Org was founded by Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg, to empower all women to achieve their ambitions. Founded in 2016, Lean In Singapore’s mission is to inspire, equip, and empower the women of Singapore to fulfil their career ambitions and lead successful, happy lives. Today we are a community of over 3,800 women and men, and over 100 circles across all ages, backgrounds and profession. Lean In Singapore hosts monthly community events, often sponsored by large organisations that provide space and refreshments for attendees. In addition, they also run company-specific events for paying sponsors. Lean in Singapore is run by a team of dedicated and passionate volunteers.
The Bank launched Lean in and HeForShe in March 2018 on International Women’s Day. Since then, the programme has enabled hundreds of employees to network with their peers and get support from their Circle members via Circle meetings and events. As of July 2020, the Bank has over 55 Circles in 7 countries, including 25 Circles in 9 GBS locations. More can be found on the SCB Lean In and Lean In Circles GBS Bridge space. There is a newly formed Global Lean In Committee with representation across the SCB footprint.
ABOUT IGNITE at SCB
IGNITE is a team of currently 40+ qualified executive coaches globally, who work in various roles/segments in the Bank and they invest personal time volunteering to coach colleagues who are ready to change, challenge and stretch themselves to improve their performance.
IGNITE runs formal 4 month sponsored cohorts for band 5 women which consists of senior sponsorship, clients being assigned an IGNITE executive coach and the network and power of connection between the women within the cohort.
The ideal candidate will assist in the coordination of Lean In and IGNITE initiatives within the Bank. The candidate is passionate about D&I and how D&I drives the business agenda. S/he will be highly organised, dynamic and have a proven track record of project coordination/management and an ability to drive activities that supports CCIB’s workforce diversity, inclusiveness, and retention opportunities.
