The Candidate joins the Global Markets, Payments & Treasury Services (OPTISM) team in Singapore, supporting the APAC OPTISM Management team. This candidate will play a critical role in the refinement, design and integration of department wide, cross-team systems and processes to ensure alignment and increased operational efficiency.
Collate, track and ensure accuracy on the key metrics on transactions, department scorecard and reports. Provide accurate and timely data and reporting support.
Provide stewardship on our portfolio of data and enabling fact based, data driven decisions, lead in creation and coordination on initiatives, remediation, reports and dashboards.
Drive innovation and continuous improvements in support of OPTISM processes optimization and digitization – Coordinate updates and lead efforts for assigned streams to continuously improve delivery quality within and across practices.
Perform administrative duties relating to APAC OPTISM book of works
Track projects and remediation work for APAC OPTISM and manage various stakeholders in regional capacity to drive improvement and automation initiatives.
Monitor and track the closure of issues from identification to resolution.
Ensure proper change management on the implementation of risk policies and procedures.
Participate in discussions of practices, processes and tools to support modern methods to manage operational and other ad-hoc projects with various levels of intensity.
Manage operational risks and working with the various parties to resolve / mitigate those risks.
Support the employee journey and people agenda of the department.
Tertiary education, preferably with Trade Finance operations and Payments experience in Banking
3-10 years of working experience in a similar capacity is an added advantage
Familiarity with end to end operations for either Trade Finance, Payments, FX or regional regulatory reporting desirable
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in working in a global operating environment
Quick learner and able to work under pressure, enjoys working in a multi-tasking environment with strong numerical skills
