This respected European bank is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their team. Starting as a 12 month contract, there will be opportunities for extension for high performing candidates.

Your new role
The successful candidate will join an innovative team responsible for developing scalable Java platforms to support the bank’s global markets business. Working closely with front office teams, you will be expected to support the organisation developing best in class pre-trade systems.

You will be expected to be an excellent developer, comfortable working in a hands-on capacity and motivated to deliver real value to the bank.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have a degree in computer sciences (or equivalent) and strong, hands on experience in core java, spring, spring boot, restful services and microservices. Experience in cloud integration will also be very useful.

You should have experience in messaging technologies and experience working in an agile environment. Excellent communication skills are important for this role, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multicultural team.
