The job will require:

• Gather and analyse data on our Japanese listed equities under our coverage to assist our research product.
• Arrange company meetings, attend analyst briefings, develop earnings forecast models, analyse emerging trends/themes in the industry and write research reports in English and potentially Japanese.
• Able to engage and answer client queries
• Work seamlessly with global colleagues in research, sales, and trading to contribute of the Japanese content to our research product
• Organise annual roadshows to Tokyo and Japan to meet companies under research coverage
• Any buyside contacts will be advantageous and further your remuneration

業務内容

• 調査対象とする日本上場株式のデタを収集・分析し調査をアシスト。
• 会議の準備、アナリスト・ブリフィングへの参加、収益予測モデルの構築。業界の最新の動向や話題を分析し、英文の調査報告書を作成。（日本語の場合もあり）
• クライアントの問い合わせ対応。
• 日本語情報を取り入れながら、グロバルチムと円滑に連携して調査、セルス、トレディングを実行。
• 調査対象企業との会合のため、東京など日本での年次ロドショを計画。
• バイサイドとのコネクションがある応募者を優遇。より高い報酬が可能。

The successful candidate will need:

• Analytical ability: Ability to read balance sheets, income and cashflow statements. Be able to build own Discount Cash Flow, Discounted Dividend, Leverage Buyout and Comparables models.
• Communication: Ability to work independently but part of a global team
• Language: Business Level Japanese & English (speaking / writing)
• Computer Skills: Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• バランスシト、損益計算書、キャッシュフロ計算書が理解でき、独自の割引キャッシュフロモデル、割引配当モデル、レバレッジバイアウトモデル、比較モデルが構築できる。
• グロバルチムの一員としてだけでなく、独立して働くことができる。
• 日本語・英語共にビジネスレベルの読み書き可能。
• Excel、PowerPoint、Wordの知識。
