WRS are looking for an ICT person in Singapore to help-out with the ever increasing workload in the shipyard and eventual setup operations of ICT network and services on the FPSO.
We are looking for an ICT technical support person who should be able to carry out the following activities:
Day-to-day ICT support for equipment users in the shipyard (resolving technical issues, configuration and user changes, etc)
Collaboration with all stakeholders for the installation, configuration and eventual commissioning of Office network equipment on the FPSO (firewalls, servers, user equipment, peripherals, as well as changing internet feeds from shipyard feed to VSAT and eventually optic fibre in final location)
Assistance in local (Singapore) purchasing of equipment, location of suitable suppliers).
Onboarding: We would like to have this person start as soon as possible, but no later than end of October.
Offboarding: Ideally the person should stay with us until connection of optic fibre in final position, so that he/she can provide support all through construction in Singapore, sailing to country and until connection to shore network. If this is not possible, minimum stay should be until sail-away, but we would then need to arrange for a replacement, from Singapore or Israel, to take over.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar positions for technical work and helpdesk support.
Good knowledge of technical support and operation of computer operating systems (user PCs and servers) and network configurations.
Fluent in English.
Cisco network equipment configuration skills and/or certification a plus.
