This is an interesting opportunity with an investment firm with their presence in SEA. They are hiring an HR (AVP) to assist them with both HR and Admin functions.
The HR AVP will oversee the full spectrum of HR function as well as general office administrative function. This is a hybrid role and the responsibilities include supervising both HR and Admin teams, working with senior stakeholders to provide HR advice, formulating human resources plans, policies and strategies, be involved with activities such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, talent management, performance management, training and development, payroll processing, manpower planning, annual budgeting, compiling and analyzing employee turnover, facilitating in funding applications, etc. The other aspect of the role includes office and facilities management, such as office renovation and relocation, lease renewal, insurance, etc.
You should have a Degree, preferably with specialization in Human Resource Management with a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in an HR and Admin capacity, in a managerial level. You are proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel et.), have good knowledge of Employment Act and Labour Laws, have demonstrated the ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels as well as possess a strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Candidates from banking/investment firms highly preferred.
