We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Develop a regional and global procurement strategy and transform category management in alignment with the global strategies through partnership with cross-functional teams and knowledge of market best practices.
Accountable for developing a strategic approach to the corporate procurement and material management process for the procurement of direct/indirect goods and services
Develop and implement an effective procurement organisation for the APAC region with regional and local procurement specialists.
Maintain strong relationships with the procurement leads of other regions and coordinate global procurement initiatives on regional level accordingly.
Manage and own the procurement policy and procedures for the APAC region.
Develop an efficient and balanced supplier base, build good business relationships, and drive supplier performance by using appropriate metrics and scorecards.
Oversee the contracting process including administration, archiving and post-execution.
Provide procurement training for the procurement team and broader organisation.
Continually innovate and develop tools and processes to automate, streamline and improve the procurement function.
Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
At least 12 years in Procurement functions, including 5 years in team management roles.
Demonstrable experience in building and developing a procurement function, setting the corporate procurement direction and strategies, supplier management, and contract management.
Results oriented and metrics-driven, with very good communication skills.
Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people at all levels throughout an organization in a multi-country environment.
Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organisational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.
