The Opportunity
We are excited to announce this exceptional growth opportunity at Aon to lead and meaningfully contribute to the creation and success of the Aon Private Equity Vertical in Asia Pacific.

In this role you will drive the establishment of the strategic and operational framework to initiate and sustain the account management process. You will partner with Aon’s Strategic Global Client and Growth functions, Strategic Account Managers and Account Coordinators to identify and solve Private Equity client needs, as well as act in such roles personally on several selected funds.

In addition, the following outlines the key features of the role including matrix or where appropriate direct responsibility for:

1). Gathering, analyzing and strategizing data including:

• Identify and map the Private Equity (PE) and Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Financial Sponsors ecosystem;
• Review current penetration of the PE and M&A Financial Sponsors ecosystem and identify areas where Aon should focus – short term, mid-term and long term – to build a sustainable and dynamic PE business;
• Consider client segmentation, both from a geographical and size perspective; and review potential need for operational/business segmentation; and
• Analyze conversion data for the APAC countries and identify further growth opportunities

2). Designing and executing on the strategy and best practices to drive sales including:

• Review different sales models and approaches currently in place throughout APAC;
• Partner with Country, Regional and proposition Leaders in order to align go to market strategies for the PE and M&A Financial Sponsors ecosystem;
• With these partners consider different approaches for increasing penetration of Aon Solutions throughout the PE & M&A deal life cycle including Due Diligence services (cyber, Intellectual Property, Human capital, risk & insurance) & conversion; Transaction Solutions; M&A / PE client needs as an opportunity to produce Aon United Sales; and Portfolio Company management opportunities aligned across Delivering Aon United Solution Lines

3). Designing and executing on the strategy and best practices for delivery including;

• Implementation of clear roles, responsibilities and engagement approaches for execution of PE solutions leveraging Aon resources across the region;
• Access specialist capabilities across the region including Aon’s Data & Analytics capabilities and Growth & Sales oriented stakeholders; and
• Together with Marketing & Sales, develop a Client Relationship Management list of the Private Equity and M&A Financial Sponsors ecosystem for tracking and coverage purposes.

To be successful in this role you will:

• B e actively engaged in developing, growing and sustaining a network within the PE Industry and / or M&A community that promotes thought leadership and expertise
• Possess knowledge and experience gained either directly or indirectly from the PE industry and / or M&A community within Asia Pacific with demonstrated results in executing innovative solutions on behalf of others and / or driving business performance and growth outcomes
• Demonstrate your understanding of the risk needs of participants in the PE Industry and / or M&A community, with an ability to identify solutions to those needs
• Illustrate your skills in collaborating through open and inclusive communication and engagement approaches which bring together the strengths of others to achieve optimum outcomes for clients
• Prioritise the value and importance of data led insights in designing sales and account management processes that will capture growth potential
• Experience in delivering executive leadership capabilities in managing a growing business complete with operational management responsibilities, talent and client objectives.

Line Management Responsibilities: Initially the role will focus on individual execution and achieving objectives through others. Formal people management responsibility will follow in alignment with business growth objectives.

Location: Singapore or Hong Kong (specific Asia region location of the role is open for consideration for the right candidate and to ensure best execution of the role strategy).
