Head of IT Security, Banking Permanent NEW

We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Working with your team, you will ensure that the infrastructure is well designed, deployed and maintained in a secure manner resistant to cyber and malware exploitation and data leakage threats, and when potential IT security threats are identified, to lead the investigation and recovery process. Apart from overseeing all new applications/systems development and platform acquisitions, you will ensure that the IT Operations in the bank comply with bank and MAS policies and frameworks. As a Head of IT Security, you will oversee the annual budget of your team and be a key technology partner in conjunction with the Bank’s digitalization journey.

The ideal candidate should be degree qualified with at least 12 years of relevant experience, preferably from the Banking and Financial industry. This is a technical role hence it requires the candidate to have solid background in an infrastructure-related position. Team management experience would be beneficial.
