We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Own, develop and maintain a holistic energy and utility strategy across the AirTrunk business, addressing all timescales, future scenarios and outcomes. This will involve working with external and internal teams to strategize and develop energy initiatives necessary to meet our industry and our customers future needs.
Develop and manage regulatory and market engagement across all APAC markets
Develop and maintain relationships with our customers energy teams – this will be at tactical and senior levels
Develop and maintain intelligence and data around utility and energy infrastructure across the APAC region – in both existing and new markets
Develop and maintain relationships with the utility, network and energy providers in all jurisdictions – this will be at tactical and senior levels
Identify, develop, and execute the procurement, contracting and development of utility infrastructure and energy solutions across the AirTrunk portfolio
Manage the engagement with utility providers. This will involve developing market and location based intel around the utility availability, costs and value proposition.
Manage the teams that are overseeing the project management of the utility infrastructure builds to AT sites
Develop a power purchase strategy for the regional locations (Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, etc.) including options for access to renewable power
Work with the Site Selection teams on utility and energy solutions for new sites
Work with our customers and Operations team around energy procurement and contracting
Develop innovative, customer solutions around energy and utility around renewables and customer centric solutions
A minimum of 10 years or more related experience in energy strategy, infrastructure, and procurement
A minimum of 3-5 years or more APAC market experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related speciality, MBA preferred
Experience working for a data centre operator
Proficiency in one of the APAC languages
Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
Ability to manage with positive influence and motivate customers to obtain desired levels of performance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package – Word, Excel, Outlook, Project & Visio
Familiarity in working with Customer Portals, BMS, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
