We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Implementing and conducting regular compliance training programs on an ongoing basis on the relevant regulatory developments, compliance policies and procedures
Collaborating with technology and product teams in assessing and mitigating technology risk and regulatory risks
Initiating, and promptly replying to ad-hoc compliance issues, and supporting business stakeholders and management in understanding compliance-related risks and management of such risks
Reviewing the adequacy and relevance of regulatory and compliance strategies, policies and frameworks, and overseeing enhancements to address control deficiencies
Providing advice and guidance to the business stakeholders and management on necessary actions to achieve regulatory compliance, addressing any issues arising from monitoring reports
Providing reports to management on a periodic basis on levels of compliance and/or any issues arising from specific monitoring activities
Minimum 6 years of experience in the field of compliance with a focus on regulatory compliance, compliance monitoring or other relevant compliance oversight experience
Industry experience with Fintech and e-money in a Singapore payment services setting with extensive knowledge of applicable central bank regulations and other relevant industry regulations is preferred
Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments will be an advantage
Commercially astute, highly-drive and pragmatic, with strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively, and efficiently communicate compliance concepts to internal stakeholders
Good interpersonal skills; organised and meticulous. Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
