Global Incident Management Centre (GIMC) Analyst, Group Risk Management Permanent

The GIMC Analyst monitors, escalates, and produces reports on threats to support the protection of the Bank’s people and assets. The analyst will work closely with other functions in Corporate Security to provide response-support and coordination during incidents or crises.
Responsibilities

• Proactively scan, research and analyse open-source information to provide stakeholders with updated information on potential threats to the Bank’s people, assets or potential disruptions to the Bank’s operations.
• Prepare reports for stakeholders to inform them of incidents in a timely manner, including on resolution and/or recovery efforts.
• Work closely with other functions in Corporate Security and across the Bank to ensure effective coordination during incidents or crises.
• Provide coordination support to the Crisis Management Team.
• Assist in the maintenance of the Bank’s crisis communication system.
• Maintain and review a database of sources, pertinent information, records and files.
• Contribute to After-Action-Reviews and incorporate lessons learnt into procedures.

Qualifications

• It is essential that the candidate has the initiative, integrity, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
• Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in physical security incident response, crisis management, or business continuity management.
• Experience in open-source research and ability to rapidly digest and evaluate large quantities of information.
• Strong analytical, communications and writing skills.
• Interest in current affairs and the global security environment
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and under tight deadlines.
• Willing to work non-standard hours on an on-call rotational basis.
