FlightGlobal seeks a journalist to join its Asia-Pacific editorial team to cover aerospace, air transport, and airlines. The successful candidate will work with our team of journalists to write and edit content for FlightGlobal’s various channels, including FlightGlobal.com, Flight Dashboard (online premium news), Flight International and Airline Business magazines.
The ideal candidate should have experience covering a daily news beat. We seek someone who can turn a major news story around quickly for our online audience and produce timely analysis for premium subscribers. Strong reporting and writing skills are essential.
The ability to speak a second language apart from English is a strong prerequisite.
The role requires insight and analysis around the various datasets from FlightGlobal’s array of fleet, network and schedules data tools. In addition, it requires the acquisition of externally sourced information such as airline financial performance and other corporate information. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable ability to use data in this context.
The position is based in Singapore.
Report on the Asia-Pacific aerospace, air transport, and airline sectors for FlightGlobal’s online and print channels.
Write in-depth analysis and features on the latest industry trends and other developments.
Support the Asia-Pacific editorial team in other areas of civil aviation coverage.
Represent FlightGlobal at key industry events including air shows and conferences.
Ability to travel frequently, sometimes at short notice.
