• 15+ years of finance experience with some exposure to the investment or infrastructure industry. Added audit experience is very beneficial.

Our client is a global investment firm with an established presence. It is looking for a seasoned and commercially focused Regional Finance Director to join its team. The role reports in to the CEO and will also work closely with the COO.

In this role, you will liaise closely with the overseas parent co/HQ on all finance reporting matters. You will manage a team and manage day-to-day financial functions include accounting, control, reporting, risk management, compliance, business planning, audit , tax, treasury , cash flow management etc .

In addition, you are part of the company’s executive committee and will be actively involved in making key decisions including strategic matters, approving investment/divestment decisions, advising on investment structuring and other finance matters. As head of finance, you will also deal actively with the Board and Audit Committee.

Furthermore, you will play a commercial finance role and sit on various investee companies’ boards, overseeing the company’s investments, financial reporting and audit process for the overseas entities within the group. You will do a business partnering finance role including reviewing of term sheets, joint development agreements, contracts etc and also review financial and tax due diligence on the investments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. CA/CPA/ACCA qualifications will be required.
• 15+ years of finance experience with some exposure to the investment or infrastructure related industries. Added audit experience is very beneficial.
• Has min 3 + years of experience covering tax and finance due diligence, advising on investment transactions besides
• Has experience managing a finance team
• Possess regional/global exposure in a MNC environment.
• Demonstrated successful track record of progressive career development in corporate accounting and finance
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Able to be assertive when required
• Highly self-motivated self-starter
• Possess strong leadership skills.
• Has good commercial acumen coupled with strong finance business partnering skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Energetic and dynamic. Adaptable with a positive and can do attitude
