Energy Commercial Manager [1-Yr Contract – subject to renewal] Contract

My client is a leading energy business looking to grow in their trading, investment and infrastructure development within the energy space. They are currently hiring a Commercial Manager for their energy team. This is a 1-year contract position to support the team on the management of their large scale project and will be open for renewals/conversion depending on the individual performance.

Key Responsibility:

• Project and timeline management during developmental phase for a complex cross border large scale project
• Actively engage and collaborate with stakeholders across various internal and external cross-functional teams
• Integral member of the commercial team to perform commercial analysis and business case evaluation to support investment decisions
• Work alongside legal advisors and support the negotiation for project documents including term sheets, partnership framework, concession (e.g. PPA, JDA, JVA) and supply agreements
• Work with Project Team to prepare investment papers from leads qualification to project close to seek Management and Board approval
• Exceptional experience will be gained by the individual from a highly strategic project

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge in energy business models in areas of either natural gas, power or utilities business
• Ability to understand and review legal contracts
• Strong organizational and time management skills a must; with a strong attention to details
• Team player with excellent stakeholder management skills
