The Employee Relations Group Manager is accountable for leading and directing a team of Employee Relations professionals who manage complex, sensitive, and highly visible matters and tasks across an entire region. Requires a comprehensive understanding of employee relations practices and how they interact with key stakeholders to deliver effective issue resolution and employee relations management. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of employment matters and partners with business leaders resolve issues, address gaps, and improve potential for meeting business goals. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often with senior managers, and communicate to key external parties. The role is accountable for the results achieved by direct reports and delivering successful operational and risk management. Engage in the strategic direction of the region Employee Relations team and participate in global projects focused on continuing the development of Citi’s global employee relations practices.
