Pega Lead is responsible in defining system-level architecture that includes Pega application architecture, Best practice in Pega, Integration guideline and standards with external systems, Logical Data Modeling, Release and Deployment strategy
Maintain control over the architect throughout the project to ensure the desired results are achieved
Provide thought-leadership to client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements and technical solutions. Leads the technical review and discussion with Customer
Be an integration Solution Architect of the project and work with other architects/engineering team on overall System Architecture of the system, incl. Infra/Security/Client ITD/FM support teams, etc.
Provides architecture and design guidance to project teams on the methodology of Pega Implementation. Ensure best practices, frameworks and re-useable components are employed in the project
Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge of the Pega Architecture and all Pega design and implementation features
Works in conjunction with Project Manager to size, manage scope and risk
Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements, and commits to Customer Success (realization of business benefit)
Hands-on in development and documentation
Build COE of Pega Practice
The ideal candidate should possess:
Typically 8 years’ experience in technical role with responsibilities that apply in-depth knowledge of architectural principles and design.
Experience in developing and deploying complex scalable production applications on Cloud/PaaS platforms and Containers.
Working knowledge of Pega software development tools and methodologies.
Broad and deep knowledge in current IT technologies.
Proficiency in Pega-related technology specification and standards.
Certification in appropriate technologies is an advantage.
Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, creative with excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including strong persuasive techniques.
Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.
