We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Develops and drives the implementation of strategic growth initiatives by leading the Asia Pacific Sustainability & Decarbonization (S&D) team to grow the business.
Engages with customers at a senior leadership level to understand their S&D needs, builds trusted advisor relationships and positions our Emerson portfolio to solve customer problems.
Builds partnerships with external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions, shares our expertise with potential collaborators and influences specifications & requirements as well as future policy developments around S&D.
Monitors and analyzes customer, regulatory, market and business trends as well as competitive information in this space. Generates insights and makes recommendations to AP leadership to inform business decisions on strategy and portfolio.
Conducts market research to increase company’s view of business growth opportunities across the region and drives marketing & sales initiatives to grow the business and increase Emerson’s participation in the S&D space.
Identifies applications that will enable demand generation, through deep customer knowledge. Collaborates with country and business unit representatives in developing solutions to meet customer needs.
Drives the development of sales enablers and S&D situational fluency competencies across the Sales & Marketing teams with targeted industry and product training, strategic content resources and consultative selling skills.
Degree in any of the STEM courses or Business is preferred; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in a similar industry; preferably in an account management, sales, business development or marketing function, with demonstrative achievements.
Advanced skills in strategic and value selling, including managing six and seven figure transactions.
Experience selling in both a direct and an indirect or channel driven model is a plus.
Experience providing consultation to customers and influencing specifications on Sustainability & Decarbonization matters, engaging with partners to develop innovative solutions and shape policy developments as well as selling in this space is a plus.
History of strong relationship building with customers, partners and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Proven leadership ability, interpersonal savvy and collaborative skills to work effectively with and across all levels of business within very large and complex organizations.
Proven ability to coach for both short-term and long-term results.
Self-starter who takes initiatives and works with limited direction.
Highly trusted individual who maintains and expects high standards for self and team.
Analytical skills essential for market search, converting data into insights and formulating strategies.
Strong communication skills, especially for senior leadership engagement, both internally and externally.
