We’re looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.
Develop and implement a holistic APAC exchange strategy, identifying and prioritizing key regions, commodities, and exchange partners
Work with Commercial and other stakeholders to provide the exchange component of broader China go-to-market strategy
Partner with regional Commercial and Content teams on strategic Greater China business development initiative
Have direct responsibility for the management and growth of key exchange relationships in the region.
Shepherd regional out-bound license negotiations from term sheet stage to execution stage by coordinating GTS, legal, editorial, and commercial resources globally
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to structure new commercial arrangements in addition to monitoring compliance with existing contracts
Lead negotiations with regional exchanges for the use of their data in price assessment process and redistribution
10 plus years of experience in strategy, consulting, finance, or business analysis.
Deep knowledge of the functioning of financial markets and the role of Exchanges, Clearinghouses and Price Reporting Agencies (such as Platts) is a critical requirement of the role.
Experience leading cross-functional projects
Strong English writing and presentation skills including use of PowerPoint
Chinese language proficiency strongly preferred but not mandatory
