Direct Marketing Manager Permanent NEW

Job Purpose

You are responsible for the management of direct marketing (including telemarketing) campaigns to achieve agreed sales targets, working closely with various stakeholders and business partners to develop and optimize the banca business opportunities .


The Job

• Plan and implement telemarketing campaigns for the Consumer Banking channel, drive customer penetration and maintain persistency targets through active product management;
• Ensure that the targeted Gross Written Premium (GWP) of the campaigns are achieved as planned;
• Analyse and review the persistency of the results to ensure profitability of the campaigns and telemarketing channel;
• Review call and sales records including (listening into on incoming and outgoing calls) to ensure excellent customer service, effective product presentation and quality of sales;
• Monitor telemarketing staff product knowledge, ability to handle objections and call closure;
• Monitor the quality performance of individual telemarketing staff and/or team, prepare quality reports for management review;
• Ensure all telemarketing sales are in compliance with corporate governance, procedures and Group guidelines;
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks;
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company;
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices; and
• Participate in any ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
