Digitalization Manager – Commercial Banking – AVP Permanent NEW

The banking industry is going through significant change and clients’ expectations around solutions, service and delivery are evolving. CCB is staying at the forefront of this change by driving initiatives to digitally transform the business across the client journey: from onboarding and underwriting, to lending and relationship management.

Over the last five years, the Commercial Bank has established itself as the regional thought leader and trailblazer on improving business processes, methodology, client experience and service. As a member of the regional Digitalization team, the Digitalization Manager will be responsible for implementation of digital solutions, supporting CCB business growth and development of fintech partnerships. Areas of responsibilities include:

• Implementation of regional and global projects, campaigns and initiatives that push the envelope on Client Centricity, Innovation, Digitalization, and drive business goals
• Lead efforts to digitalize credit onboarding journeys, and explore external lending solutions and fintech partnership
• Challenge, streamline, and improve workflows and touch points that belie the client experience, from prospecting, through onboarding, and beyond
• Leverage data science & AI techniques to identify new business opportunities, improve service models, and improve client engagement.
• Perform competitor analysis on digital strategies and products & services
• Explore, engage and build partnerships with Fintechs and other leaders in the digital space to explore collaboration, creation, or integration of new-age innovative ideas
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify emerging needs and business challenges

The ideal candidate should be passionate about driving cross-functional change, defining new digital client journeys, and be enthusiastically curious and excited about constant learning and development. They will also have had experience in ideating, socializing, and developing projects, either in a lead or co-lead position. Candidates with strong experience in project management involving stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies, while implementing governance measures to ensure that stakeholder goals are met, will be favorably considered.

Candidates should be:

• 5-8 years of innovation and product development experience, commercial banking knowledge preferred
• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or economics
• Independent, self-motivated with a natural inclination to intrapreurship
• Familiar with project management, product management, or stakeholder management
• Articulate, team-focused individuals comfortable interacting with senior management within the organization and clients alike
• Able to multi-task and work independently while being a team player in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Analytical, creative with a keen eye for detail and able to think out of the box
• Candidates with prior experience in a client-facing position and/or a track record of sound client engagement will have an advantage when applying
