Get to know the Role:
Oversees local IT functions such as application delivery and support, infrastructure, governance, portfolio management, and performance management
Oversees all compliance and governance controls and relation with Internal and External Auditors
Drives the set-up and delivery of all IT projects for the Digital Bank
Responsible for managing the local IT team for the Digital Bank base in Singapore
The day-to-day activities:
Define and implement the IT strategy
Partners with business stakeholders from all areas of the Digital Bank to gather all business requirements
Drives and facilitates effective collaboration and communication between the IT organization and the user and customer communities
Implements and supports IT governance processes and functions
Ensures stable operations and life cycle management of all applications & services
Enforces central standards in local IT service delivery
Establishes and implements continuous-performance evaluation metrics and improvement programs for the IT organization
Stays current with developments in new market trends and innovations in technology and the leadership of IT
Implements project management standards and guidelines
Supports roll-outs for all IT projects
Responsible for Capex and Opex budgets and performance reporting (running costs and projects)
Drives implementation of IT Security measurements both for End Point Security, Governance and Compliance Controls and all application security
The must haves:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
Typically has 10 to 12 years of IT experience, including managing team(s) in the IT environment advantageous
COBIT and ITIL ceritifactions desired
Experience in business/industry (beyond IT), managing cross-functional teams or projects
Strong leadership capability
Track record in the successful delivery of regional or global IT projects
Experience with COSO, COBIT frameworks and SOX implementations and support
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
