About Our Client
Our client is a highly successful start-up that has global presence in the B2B marketplace and trade platform of verifiable, international traders. Due to business expansion, they are currently seeking a talented DevOps Engineer. You will be the part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a DevOps Engineer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries.
Job Description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing/extending DevOps practices: technical design, obtaining approvals and hands-on development
- Extending and improving existing continuous build, integration and deployment framework and processes
- Monitoring, preventing and resolving incidents across multiple layers of the system (infrastructure, security, application logic)
- Building and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems
The Successful Applicant
As a successful candidate you will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5+ years of working experience in platform engineering roles and strong in release engineering, and/or configuration management. You will also be familiar using Linux operating system, Windows, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, Java, .Net, ELK, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, Sonarqube, Nexus and scripting experience to do integration through API, CLI for extracting data and to perform automated operations.
