Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure based on PO and LOA issued, including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
Provide planning and cost controlling support for projects which include variation reporting and monitoring of forecast project cost by consolidating any cancellation, additional or variation of scope for each package listed in WBS.
Develop the cost estimates for all packages to be procured by CLIENT Procurement with applicable qualification during execution phase to ensure CLIENT budget is protected.
Prepare monthly cost report to be presented to the project manager and management to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients.
Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT as and when required.
