Roles and Responsibilities of the Corporate Legal Officer / Corporate Counsel

• Provide legal advisory and compliance support to the Group
• Draft and review a broad range of legal contracts and agreements
• Develop, enhance and update the Group’s policy framework and guidelines to ensure corporate compliance with legal requirement and to minimise legal risk exposure
• Identify potential legal and compliance risks via conducting assessment and recommending action plans to mitigate such risks
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as regulatory bodies on legal and compliance issues

Qualifications & Requirements of the Corporate Legal Officer / Corporate Counsel, Global Firm

• Bachelor’s in Law – LLB or Legally Trained
• Bar Qualification not required
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in managing different kinds of corporate restructuring projects in APAC
• Solid knowledge of regulations in Singapore and Hong Kong
• Ability to handle legal and compliance work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and produce timely results
• Japanese language abilities is advantageous
